Reading this also brings ...Very very touching Mark. Reading this also brings back so many memories for me, after all it was in Berlin where my brother Craig met you. We had a SERIOUS bond. After all we were the only blacks in the whole school. Lol. I too remember my father taking us to see John F Kennedy too. I found myself getting pretty excited thinking that he looked right at me for a hot second. Lol. I'm so glad that I recognized you many years later on your tv shows and as you did the weather on one of the networks. I had called the station explaining who I was, and about 20 minutes later I pick up the phone and it was you. I couldn't believe it. The next time I saw you in the flesh was in NYC at Madison Square garden at a basketball game. You of course was about 10' from the court. I came down to the court YELLIN at you, you finally heard me saying as you came closer. I KNOW YOU!! LOL. Mark it was great being able to keep in touch with you after all these years and I really hope to talk and see you again in the near future. Happy Holidays to you and yours. My Dad was station...I remember that day, too, Mark. My Dad was stationed at Fort Meade, we lived in quarters there, and I was in school on post. We were immediately sent home.
